There isn’t a single theme to the work for this release, other than it including lots of smaller improvements (and a few big ones!) that were based on live customer feedback.
- Added back-end system-level logging to improve our ability to identify and prevent future issues
- Identified and removed many unused/duplicate components from our web app, which will improve initial load times
- Added filter logic to reduce the number of email notifications when you update your user info – you should now only receive the second “verification status” message when you make changes that can affect your banking privileges, such as to legal name or ID documents
- Fixed a bug that was sometimes causing duplicate transaction records to be created during the distribution process
- Employers will now receive an email notification if there are insufficient funds in their account to process a transfer to their employees
- Check disbursement address will now be automatically populated with the home address that was entered in a prior step during employee registration – you don’t have to use the same address, but if it is the same, now you don’t have to enter it twice
- Added new filter functionality to the monthly activity graph – we have more ideas still in the works on this, and there should be even more filtering options added in our next release in approximately two weeks!
- Worked with our banking partner to fix a problem on their end that was preventing users from uploading documents above a certain size – the size limit has been increased from ~3.5MB to as much as 20MB, with a larger rework of how they handle uploads coming sometime next quarter
- Fixed the inconsistent styling of the “match limit” save & cancel buttons on the Manage Program screen for employers
- Added indicators for banking status to the employee dashboard
- Created a reminder email notification for users who have started the registration process but have not yet finished it
- Created a notification to SDF admins when a client’s banking status becomes inactive so that we can help them get it reactivated faster
- Changed the column heading “ending balance” to now read “available balance” in the Activity Table on the employer dashboard
- Changed “download” buttons to say “export” in the Manage Employees screen for employers
