Release Notes – v1.1.0

October 6, 2020 by Josh Clark Leave a Comment

Our first minor version increment! The main functionality that was added in this one was more organized back-end logging, which will help us identify errors earlier and fix potential problems before they have a chance to rear their ugly heads to our customers. The full list of changes follows:

  • Replaced homegrown contact form w/ a new, sleeker one made on a site called TypeForm
  • Added code to keep node status in sync b/w Synapse & our database
  • Added user & node status checks as prerequisites for making a withdrawal
  • Replaced our older, clunkier database logging solution w/ a new one that uses a library called Winston in conjunction with Amazon’s CloudWatch service
  • Added transaction receipts & the ability to immediately cancel pending transactions directly from the withdrawal confirmation screen
